The WindTech team just got home from the bi-yearly Husum Wind fair 2023 in Husum, Germany. Our team spent a total of four days telling interested parties about WindTech and our services.
Thankfully, we also had plenty of time to explore the Wind fair! This included the potential of bringing home new solutions or technologies for our workshop in Herning.
The event was shared together with our sister companies from the other side of the pond. Cirrus Wind, Lakota Tate, and WindTech, were all busy immersing us in an enriching week of discussing solutions, new technology, and the future of the industry.
The Husum Wind fair, renowned as a leading trade fair for renewable energies in the wind sector, provided an excellent platform for industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to converge.
This not only gave WindTech a platform to speak about our company. But also our products, solutions, knowledge and experiences. Meanwhile, we still had time to discover new ways to increase our own company efficiency even more!
Exploring the Wind Supply Chain with Husum Wind 2023
The Husum Wind fair happened from the 12th to the 15th of September 2023. During this time, our team had the privilege of engaging with both familiar faces and a lot of new connections across the wind supply chain. The team experienced a wide variety of sectors of the wind industry and made sure they explored every aspect of the Husum Wind fair. From talking to like-minded partners to discovering cutting-edge technologies, Husum Wind 2023 offered a detailed view of the industry’s advancements.
The history of the Husum Wind fair dates back to 1989, and WindTech has been a stable visitor since 2015. Even though the name indicates a focus on the wind industry, the Husum Wind fair encompasses a bunch of renewable industries. This includes both on- and offshore wind power, green hydrogen, storage technologies and more. The fair also focuses on digitalization, recycling, repowering, and a variety of other parts of the wind sector.
A Great Experience for WindTech
Husum Wind 2023 turned out to be a trip filled to the brim with innovative solutions, cutting-edge technology, new connections, and exciting products. The large range of exhibits and businesses showcased technologies designed to enhance efficiency in companies and elevate the performance of wind turbines. It was another testament of the industry to the innovation and progress within the renewable energy landscape.
Even as a business that primarily works with refurbishment and repairs of older wind turbines, we found a lot of these technologies especially appealing. Many of these could benefit us and our projects moving forward.

Together with 600 other exhibitors and over 15.000 visitors from across the sector, the WindTech team, along with Cirrus and Lakota Tate, had our own booth with plenty of room to showcase our solutions, previous projects, and product material to interested parties.

Our gratitude extends to the organizers of Husum Wind 2023 for organizing an exceptional event. Husum 2023 helped bring industry leaders together and fostered collaboration across the supply chain.
